Shop Categories

Categories are an important aspect of Service Request Shop usability.

Categories should:

  • Have a clearly defined, well-thought-out structure
  • Be logically and consistently assigned to shop offers (or item classes - see 'Default Category for Item Class')
  • Continually maintained to reflect changes in the Shop content

Defining a useful initial set of categories is one of the first steps in setting up the Service Request Shop.
