User Manager on Web Client

Important functions of the User Manager are also available in Valuemation Rich Client.

To access the functionality, switch to business view 'Valuemation Core' and locate the 'User Manager' folder in the 'Objects' sidebar section. The following catalogs are available:

Users

A catalog of existing Valuemation users. Use the catalog context menu to:

• Create a user

  The command 'Create' opens a wizard for new user creation.

• Change user data

  The command opens the selected user for editing. The following attributes are available:

  • First Name, Last Name
  • Associated person
  • Domain Name, Rich Client Usage, Updatable by Interface - see 'User Properties'
  • User: Active (yes/no)
  • Password policy settings
  • Password change
• Change User's Assignment Data

  The command opens an editor for assignment of the selected user to user groups, business views, user roles and clients.

• Set password policy

  Command 'Password Policy' opens an editor for password policy specification of one or more selected users.

• Show History

  The command opens a catalog listing all audited changes of the selected user or users.

User Roles

A catalog of existing Valuemation user roles. Use the 'Edit' command to open a user role in an editor with the possibility to change user role assignments to Users, Groups and Permissions.

User Groups

A catalog of existing Valuemation user groups. Use the 'Edit' command to open a user group in an editor with the possibility to change user group assignments to Users, Roles, Business Views and Clients.

Clients

A catalog of existing Valuemation clients. Use the 'Edit' command to open a client in an editor with the possibility to change client assignments to Groups and Users.
