Editing Users and Changing a Password

To edit a user:

  1. In the Table of Users, select the user you want to edit.
  2. Click Edit button from the Main Controls to activate edit mode.
  3. Change the user information in the User Properties form. Set a new password here too if required. You can switch between the fields by pressing TAB or using your mouse.
  4. Click Accept to submit changes. If you don’t want to continue editing the user, click Cancel or press ESC.
  5. Click Apply to keep changes or, when prompted to save changes on exit, click OK to confirm.

Note: In Valuemation you can edit only active internal users. Inactive internal users have to be activated to enable editing them. External users can only be edited at the LDAP server.

Note: User ID cannot be modified after the user is created, you can only edit the other properties of the user.
