Quick Search

Here you can define attributes which are to be used in the Quick Search condition. The first 8 visible catalog columns, which are listed under the 'Currently used colums' label, are used by default. Note that some attribute types such as date&time or boolean attributes are skipped in the definition - only the string and text attributes are taken into account.

Note: The maximum count of attributes can be changed in Global Settings > Basic Settings.

To create your own columns definition, do the following:

  1. Click the 'Create definition from columns' button.

All attributes which are currently used as catalog columns and which are suitable for the Quick Search mode will be added to the Quick Search definition.

The entries which exceed the allowed maximum number of attributes will be marked red.

  2. Use the 'Remove' button to remove the selected attributes from the quick search definition.

Use the 'Add' button to add the selected attributes to the quick search definition.

Use the arrows to move the columns positions. It is useful for replacing the selected attribute with an overflown "red" attribute.

  3. Click 'OK' to confirm and close the catalog customization.

Note: The 'Create definition from columns' action is enabled only if the Quick Search definition has not been created yet.

Note: If a value set attribute is used for the Quick Search condition, it can cause performance problems.
