Reporting

Change reporting uses standard Valuemation reporting tools:

• BIRT reporting

  Valuemation supports the industry standard BIRT reports. For general information on BIRT integration, go to the 'BIRT' help section. Topic 'Predefined Reports in Valuemation' lists all currently existing ready-to-use BIRT reports.

• Valuemation printing to PDF

  Printing method which uses catalog and view definitions to create printable PDF documents. It can be used to easily print any catalog or object to PDF without having to create any report definition.

  When the Print-to-PDF action is called, the catalog or selected objects are printed using a template report which is default in the given context. It is also possible to modify the print result by choosing a different report template or specifying your own print settings (action 'Print to PDF with').

• Valuemation legacy printing

  Standard Valuemation printing method for many years. It requires advance creation of report definitions. Due to its limitations this method is seen as deprecated and is superseded by Valuemation PDF printing.
