Managing Calculations

Calculations in Valuemation represent simple arithmetic calculations and string operations. Using the Calculation Customizer, you can directly define certain arithmetic formula without any other settings.

Note: In many cases, a workflow could be also applied but often it is too complex to be used just for simple arithmetic calculations.

The definition of a calculation follows three basic steps:

  1. Decide which business object is to be affected.
  2. Select an attribute where the result of the calculation is to be stored.
  3. Create the calculation formula.
