Translations of Catalog Elements

Window Title

A catalog window title consists of two parts:

• Word 'Catalog'
• Name of the catalog

The translation of the first part is defined using translations of the application text. The translation of catalog name is defined in the 'Catalog customizer', the 'Translations' tab. User dependent translation catalog name displayed in the sidebar can be changed as within sidebar translations.

Column Names

Column names are effectively translations of attributes. Translations of attributes are defined in the “Translation editor”.

Action Buttons and Menu Items

Translations of the action buttons and menu items are defined in the 'Action customizer'.

Drop-down List Values

Values in drop-down lists which are taken from a fixed value set are defined in the “Value set customizer”.

To change the translations of values in a drop-down list, you first need to find out which value set they are taken from.

1. Open the 'Object type customizer', select the object type of the view
2. Find the corresponding attribute according to the field label in the view and find out the name of the corresponding value set
3. Open the 'Value set customizer' and locate the value set
4. Switch to the 'Value/Label Id' tab and specify the translations
