Calendar

The 'Calendar' page of 'Global Settings' provides default settings for the Calendar View catalog mode.

Calendar view related settings can also be found here:

  • User Settings > Calendar

Settings made here have higher setting priority than Global Settings. Currently only 'First day of week' can be set in 'User Settings'.

  • Catalog Customizer > Calendar Tab

Settings made in the 'Catalog Customizer' have the highest priority, they override both the User and Global Settings.

Here in Calendar Settings you can set the following:

  • Default Mode

The setting selects the default range of the calendar catalog mode.
There are three display ranges (modes) available in the Calendar View: Day Mode, Week Mode and Month Mode.

  • First day of week

The setting selects the starting week day in the calendar catalog mode (usually Monday or Sunday).

Option 'From Locale' (default) means that the value is taken over from system settings.

  • Day starts at

The workday start time definition. Select the time (hrs) which would represent the common beginning of the working day. When you open a catalog in the Calendar View, the selected time would highlight the beginning of the day (see also the picture in the 'Operations in the Calendar View' topic in the Valuemation Essentials chapter).

  • Day ends at

The workday end time definition. Select the time (hrs) which would represent the common end of the working day. When you open a catalog in the Calendar View, the selected time would highlight the end of the day (see also the picture in the 'Operations in the Calendar View' topic in the Valuemation Essentials chapter).

  • Subject to calendar entry (day mode)

Enables you to show the subject (with or without time) of calendar events in Day calendar modes.

    The following values are available:

    • No - the subject will not be visible.
    • Yes with time specification - the time and subject of the event will be visible.
    • Yes without time specification - only the subject of the event will be visible.
  • Subject to calendar entry (week mode)

Enables you to show the subject (with or without time) of calendar events in Week calendar modes.

    The following values are available:

    • No - the subject will not be visible.
    • Yes with time specification - the time and subject of the event will be visible.
    • Yes without time specification - only the subject of the event will be visible.
