Calendar

The 'Calendar' page of 'User Settings' provides user-dependent default settings for the Calendar View catalog mode.

  • First day of week

The setting selects the starting week day in the calendar catalog mode (usually Monday or Sunday).

Option 'From Locale' (default) means that the value is taken over from system settings.

  • Subject to calendar entry (day mode)

Enables you to show the subject (with or without time) of calendar events in Day calendar modes.

    The following values are available:

    • No - the subject will not be visible.
    • Yes with time specification - the time and subject of the event will be visible.
    • Yes without time specification - only the subject of the event will be visible.
  • Subject to calendar entry (week mode)

Enables you to show the subject (with or without time) of calendar events in Week calendar modes.

    The following values are available:

    • No - the subject will not be visible.
    • Yes with time specification - the time and subject of the event will be visible.
    • Yes without time specification - only the subject of the event will be visible.

Additional calendar view-related settings can be found here:

  • Global Settings > Calendar

Calendar view-related settings which apply globally:

    • Default Mode
    • First day of week
    • Day starts at
    • Day ends at

If 'First day of week' is specified in 'User Settings', this overrides the same setting in 'Global Settings'.

  • Catalog Customizer > Calendar Tab

Settings made in the 'Catalog Customizer' have the highest priority, they override both 'User Settings' and 'Global Settings'.
