Working With the Catalog Customizer

When working with the Catalog Customizer, a typical Valuemation customizer or administrator usually start from the Customization Browser. Here you can find and manage the individual Object Types with their catalog definitions together with the related group of the essential customization actions.

The 'Structure of the Catalog Customizer' topic describes all the tabs which the Catalog Customizer consists of and where the extensive amount of customization can be carried out.

Handling the actual catalogs (and most of the related aspects of catalogs) in the application predominantly from the user´s point of view is described in the Valuemation Essentials chapter in detail mainly in the Sidebar InfoObject in Use and Workspace InfoObject in Use sections.

Last but not least, there are some specific customization areas being worthy of a special, in-depth description such as the Catalog inplace Editing, Export to Text File or the Customization of the Graphical Catalog Modes.
