Working with the Authorization Manager

As stated in the Introduction to Valuemation Authorization Management topic, working with Authorization Manager comprises managing Authorizations through Default Authorization, Authorizations for Business Objects and Authorizations for Technical Objects.

Note: All Authorizations can only be assigned to Roles that have to be previously created in the User Manager.

The Authorization Management (and thus all the authorizations) can be either active or inactive. See Activating the Authorization Management for information about activating / deactivating it.
