Authorizations for Technical Objects

There are three different possibilities to define Authorizations for Technical Objects:

  • Object Type

Controls access to all technical object of a particular type.

Example: User may create and change report definitions but not Workflows.

  • Attribute Value

Controls access to a technical object based on a particular attribute.

Example: User may only change Workflows which have the status = “Locked”.

  • Instance

Controls access to a specific instance of a technical object.

Example: User may access the Workflow with the number 31 called “OpenMassMove”.
