  • Base Language

Common language used for system comments generated e.g. during status change of requests.

  • Max. Messages

The number specifies how many times one guidance message gets displayed during working with SRM & Procurement. For instance, when a new shop offer is created, a guidance message informing about the necessity to also save the related offer package for the new offer to be properly saved gets displayed. If 'Max. Messages = 3', then the guidance message will not be displayed any more after third such occasion.

  • Items in Memory

A setting limiting the number of SRM individual items processed directly in memory. When this quantity is reached, processing is performed using iterators with incremental saving to the database. Note that the 'Incoming Goods' action uses its own 'Incoming Goods Max' setting found in the 'Reservation, Incoming Goods' section.

  • Perform Calculation for Mobile Self Service Shop

If selected, a special calculation needed only for "mobile shop" (such as SmartLink / mobile shop client) is performed with every shop offer saving. This may increase the saving time of offers.

  • Disable Selecting Previous Requests in Shop

If selected, automatic opening of previous requests catalog during component requesting is disabled.

The previous requests catalog opens when:

    • a person that is not assigned to any system requests a component, and at the same time
    • there is already at least one request for a new system registered for that person

Common Service

  • 'Create Offer...' should include Common Service

If selected, item 'Common Service' is included in the source selection step of the offer creation wizard.

The choice is identical with running action 'Create Common Offer' and represents simplified offer creation with no need to deal with item type, the offer is automatically created on the basis of a default common item type (see next setting).

  • Item Type behind Common Service

Select the default item type on which simplified common service creation is based (see previous setting).

Settings for Current User

  • Debug

Select the 'Debug' check box to activate logging of debug info for the current user into the 'black' java console and Valuemation log. For development purposes only.

  • Shop Accessibility Question

Selecting the 'Shop Accessibility Question' check box activates a question dialog asking to switch customization into the accessibility mode even if the mode is currently not activated. For development purposes only.

  • Person

The person associated with the current user.

    • The person association with the current user can be changed.
  • Current User

    The user currently signed in.

    • It is possible to change the current Valuemation User. This may be useful e.g. for testing during customization of the SRM&Procurement functionality.
    • In Valuemation Rich Client it is also possible to open 'User Manager' from within the 'Current User' section.

Settings for Other Users

  • Open User Specific Main Parameters

As user-specific settings are stored as mainparameters, the need to edit these mainparameters may arise. Use the 'Open User Specific Main Parameters' button to open a prefiltered mainparameters catalog.
