Create a Process

To be able to create a Process, the user has to has the role Process Engineer. The Process you can edit must be in state In Development.

Create a Process

  1. Open the catalog Processes for Engineer (Modelling folder).
  2. Right-Click in the catalog to open the context-menu.
  3. Choose Create in Modeller.
  4. In the Process Modeller, fill in the process Name.

    It is advised, not to let the Description empty.

  5. You can now save the process using the Save button. (see Process Modeller for its detailed description)

    If the Process name is not unique, the system will recognize it and warn you.

    Process is now in the state In Development. (see Process Life Cycle for more information on this topic)

Edit a Process

  1. Right-click on the background in the Process Modeller to open the context-menu.
  2. Select Edit Properties.

    This opens the Process Editor, where you can Create/Edit/Remove:

The Process is opened in the Process Modeller, that's the reason why most of the fields are grayed out - edit them in the Modeller if needed. The Details Tab shows GUID information and the Planned Duration field makes it possible to enter the duration of the process (supported format are time units, e.g. 2 d 5 h 30 s).
