Close existing Service Request ticket

Use case scenario: The Call acceptance editor is filled with logged user information (normally end user or customer) and description. A service request already exists and the end user confirms the provided solution. The service request shall be closed.

The following actions are involved in the process:

Close SR

Allows you to close the Service Request.

 

To close the existing Service Request ticket:

  1. Continue with the opened Call acceptance editor.
  2. Locate the appropriate service request ticket in the Tickets reference catalog or in the catalog of Service Requests.
  3. Open the correct service request by double-clicking on it.
  4. Click Close SR to close the Service Request.

    The Service Request status changes to 'Closed'.
