Column Search in Reference Catalogs

If available, the Reference Catalogs are located at the bottom part of an editor. The 'Reference Catalogs' are catalogs displaying a collection of objects referenced by the object for which the main editor is currently opened. It is possible to perform the Column Search here in the same way the search can be applied in the catalog.

To perform the Column Search in Reference Catalogs:

  1. In Reference Catalogs, reveal the search area by clicking the arrow on the splitter.

Note: You can also hide the search area again in the same way.

  2. Define a condition.

A condition node will be created.

  3. The filtered search results will be available immediately below.

The Column Search works the same way it does in the catalog.

See also the 'Structure of the Column Search' topic and the related topics for a complex explanation.
