Global Search

The Global Search enables you to search globally within the entire system in all configured object types. The Global search box is located at the top in the toolbar and thus it is permanently available.

Global Search: Advantages and Limitations

• The overall speed and power of global search - just enter a keyword and press the 'Enter' key.
• No specific attributes and operators need to be selected prior to the search.
• The search is performed across more object types in their text fields.
• The Global search box is constantly available in the toolbar.
• Search results are temporary, however, the last search results can be recalled.
• The scope of the Global search can be narrowed by predefined search groups.
• It is a full text search: Only the whole words can be searched for, the auxiliary characters (&, %, #...) are ignored in the search field.
