Accept the Service Request and Check the Responsibility

Use case scenario: The Service Request ticket is displayed in a personal or group catalog. The Service Request has to be accepted first so that you can start working on it.

Preconditions: Only the Person assigned to the same group as the current responsible user can assign the service request! The Service Request ticket is displayed in personal or group catalog. It has to be accepted to start working on it.

The following actions are involved in the process:

Accept Service Request

Allows you to takeover the Incident and to let you become the the current responsible person.

 

To accept Service Request and check the responsibility:

  1. Select the Service Request from the personal or group catalog.

    This can be the My Service Requests catalog for instance.

  2. Double click to open it in the editor.
  3. Click Accept SR.

    The current responsible user has changed.
