Graphical Catalog Modes Customization

There are more catalog modes as described in the 'General Tab' topic but only three of them can be considered graphical: Calendar Mode, Timeline View and Multiline Mode. The customization of graphical catalog modes sometimes strays beyond the standard Catalog Customizer.

The following topics deal with the specific Catalog Modes:

  • Calendar Mode Customization

The 'Calendars' tab in the Catalog Customizer serves for customization of the "Catalog to Calendar" Mode. However, customization of the Calendar Mode must have been started from the 'Object Type Customizer'.

  • Multiline Mode Customization

The Multiline catalog mode is one of several ways in which data in a Valuemation catalog may be displayed. In this mode, objects are displayed one after another in a table-like fashion similar to the table mode, the difference being that each object can be devoted several lines.

  • Timeline View Customization

The Timeline view uses Timelines to display time-dependent data. A Timeline is a type of bar chart showing activities (tasks, events) displayed against time. Each activity is represented by a bar; the position and length of the bar reflect the start date, duration and end date of the activity. Timelines are primarily used for scheduling of resources, scheduling of production processes or employee rostering.
