Control Buttons

The following control buttons are available:

  • Add Attribute

    Enables you to add the available attributes to the view. Multiple attributes can be selected at the same time.

  • Add Label

    Adds a label to the view. The label is not based on any attribute, the value of the label for each language is stores in translations.

  • Add a Separator

    Adds a separator to the view. The separator is a horizontal line which can visually separate the individual view items and thus make more complex views more comprehensible.

  • Add Action(s)...

    Adds one or more action buttons to the view. When you select multiple actions, they will be put to a toolbar. When an action toolbar/dropdown is selected, the selected action(s) will be added to the toolbar/dropdown.

    Note that the the action visibility is determined by existing editor action assignments (state, mode, rules...)

  • Remove

    Removes the attributes from the View Definition section (and adds them back to the Resources section).

Note: You can also call the context menu with the same actions if you right-click an empty space in the View Designer.

  • Create Group

    Enables you to create a group of selected view elements in the View Designer.

  • Move to Group

    Allows you to add another view element to the already existing group.

  • Remove from Group

    Enables you to remove a view element from the existing group.
