This area lists all plain attributes and relation attributes which are available for use in the View. You can select an individual attribute in the list and add it in the view definition in the View Designer.

The available attribute types are:

  • Plain attribute

A plain attribute of an object type.

Note: The plain attribute of the Rich text type is marked with a black dot.

  • Reference attribute

A relation attribute, represents a reference to a single object.

  • Reference attribute collection

A relation attribute, represents a collection of related objects.

Notes:

  • The attributes which have already been assigned to the View are disabled and grayed.
  • If you select a relation attribute for which a value set exist, the Formatter/View will be automatically set to 'Choice box'. If no value set is available, the 'Reference View' reference view is used implicitly. If so, you can pick a particular reference view from the adjacent Reference View combo box and select a specific format for the reference view in the Formatter/View field.
