Process Relevance Group

Objects of the 'Process Relevance Group' object type facilitate grouping of process roles according to their position in supplier relationships. Process relevance groups supplied in standard Valuemation are: 'Supplier Management' (reserved for business partners of the 'Supplier' type) and 'Business Partner' (intended for all "non-supplier" business partners). If necessary, more process relevance groups can be added by creating new 'Process Relevance Group' objects.

To put a process role into a process relevance group:

  1. Open the process role object for editing
  2. Add the process relevance group to the 'Process Relevance Groups' reference catalog at the bottom of the editor.
One process role can be assigned to multiple relevance groups.

The assignment can also be created from the 'Process Relevance Group' side:

  1. Open the 'Process Relevance Group' object
  2. Use the 'Process Roles' reference catalog to administer the process roles it contains.

Example of 'Process Relevance Group' use:

If a 'Supplier Management' relevance group contains process roles 'Employee (business partner)', 'Supplier Relationship Manager', 'Operations Contact' and 'Contract Contact', these process roles will be available for person assignment as 'Contact Persons' to all business partners of the 'Supplier' partner type.
