Export Mode

Metamodel can be exported in two ways:

• Incremental differences

  Default option. Only incremental differences from the original database (defined in session EXPORT_ORIG) are exported.

  Use export mode 'Only incremental differences from the original database'.

• All objects

  All objects fulfilling the specified filtering condition(s) are exported, both modified and not modified in comparison to the original database. This mode is useful e.g. for exporting all objects belonging to a selected business module.
  When this export output is imported, objects already existing in the target database are completely overwritten.

  Use export mode 'Export all objects as created'.
