Setting Permissions for Viewing HistoryIn order to be able to view the history of audited objects, which can be done at three levels (history for object types, history for selected objects and history of related changes; see also Viewing History), the user has to be set (through a role) the permissions for appropriate actions. Proceed subsequently:
.history.all.for.object.type - serves for showing/hiding the menu item Show history for object type in the menu on catalog nodes in sidebar .history.of.selected.objects - serves for showing/hiding the menu item Show history on selected items in the menu in catalogs of an object type .history.of.related.changes - serves for showing/hiding the menu item Show history of related changes in the menu on one item selected from catalog of audited changes
Note: If you have already defined the authorization(s) for the action(s) for the selected role, you can change its/their right(s) in the 'List' tab. Meaning of the set rights: If a user (through the role) is set the right execute, the system shows the appropriate "history" menu item. Note: Unless Audit is globally activated and the selected object type has the audit set, the appropriate "history" menu items cannot be shown. If a user (through the role) is set the right no execute, the system hides the appropriate "history" menu item. | ||||||
