Catalog Legend

Valuemation catalogs use rendering conditions to graphically differentiate between important aspects of the displayed information. For example, specific icons may be assigned to individual ticket classes, significant ticket statuses may be displayed with different background colours, etc. Reading these graphical clues soon becomes a second nature for an experienced user. To a novice user, Catalog Legend provides an explanation of rendering conditions used in the given catalog.

Catalog Legend in Use

To display catalog legend, click the Help Image icon at the bottom of the catalog. The 'Legend' pop-up gets opens. It displays a brief characterization of catalog content followed by a table of catalog rendering conditions including used icons (if relevant), a sample of text formatting and a description of what kind of data each condition represents.

Help Image

Catalog legends for most catalogs are provided in standard Valuemation. New catalog legends can be created and the existing ones edited by the Valuemation administrator.
