Paths to VMA-related Files

VMA-related files are located in two locations within the VM root folder:

Folder <script> subfolder <addon>

The folder contains database scripts to do with VMA.

  • VMA dashboards

Subfolder <Dashboards>/<VMA> contains database scripts regarding VMA dashboards

    Folder root: platform independent scripts

    Subfolders: respective platform dependent scripts

Note: subfolder <MashZone> provides backward compatibility for ARIS MashZones used in previous Valuemation versions.

  • VMA reporting

No special database scripts are needed for VMA reporting.

Folder <addon> subfoder <VMA>

The folder contains database non-related files to do with VMA, regarding both dashboards and reporting.

Subfolders:

  • <Dashboard> - VMA dashboards

    - <Valuemation Monitoring> - dashboards for Valuemation event logging functionality

    - <Valuemation Standard> - dashboards for individual areas of Valuemation business functionality

  • <Documentation> - technical documentation for dashboards
  • <Mondrian> - Mondrian schemas (Mondrian schemas are xml files representing an intermediary layer between the VMA server and Valuemation)
  • <Reports> - a folder for report definitions. May not contain any actual report definitions as these are contained within Valuemation. Subfolder <Templates> contains file 'vm_template' for Pentaho report designer - template containing the standard layout of Valuemation reports.
  • <VMACM> - 'Valuemation Analytics Content Migrator': a utility which can be used to transfer the content of the addon folders to a VMA server.
