Environment Setup

This is a link object for Setup Objects and Valuemation Environments.

If a setup run is executed for an environment, the linked Customization Object is imported (transferred). This is done in exactly the same way as the standard customization transfer: The customization is transferred based on Transfer Orders, which means that a Transfer Order is created automatically for the Environment Setup object before the importer is started. The Transfer Orders are created for each setup run. This has the benefit that it is always possible to control and track the execution.

To be able to transfer several Customization Objects (in this context as Setup Objects) in a given order, it is possible to set a sequence number for each Environment Setup link object. The importer will order all Transfer Orders which have been created for the Environment Setup links correspondingly.
