Calling the View Customizer

The View Customizer is primarily accessed from the Customization Browser. In the lower section of the Customization Browser, there is the 'Views' tab with the View browser below and the adjacent control buttons which allow you to call the View Customizer in the following way:

  • If you select and double click a view directly in the View browser, the View Customizer for the selected view is called.
  • Use the control buttons next to the View browser to perform the basic operations such as Edit, Create, Copy or Remove. The 'Edit', 'Create' and 'Create Simple Search View' actions call the View Customizer.

Alternatively, the View Customizer can be also started:

  • From within a View
    1. Right-click anywhere inside the opened view.
    2. Select 'Customize' and click the 'Edit View' from the context menu.

The customizer for this particular View opens.

  • From the Catalog Customizer
    1. In the Catalog Customizer, go to the General tab.
    2. Use the 'Edit' or 'Create' button at the 'Object View for edit operation' line to access the View Customizer.
