Multilingual Support

Support for Multilingual Tasks can be used e.g. by employees of subsidiaries located in different countries.

To enable Multilingual Support for Tasks in BPM, set the main language:

  1. Open Global Settings.
  2. Open the Multilingual Support tab in the Representation Folder.
  3. Set the main language to English.

Data in the main language remain in the original table. Data in the other languages are stored in additional multilingual table using unicode column type.

If you select a Task with the left-click, its properties are displayed at the bottom. On the right side of these, there are a few icons that represent the possibility to set multilingual data for these columns.

If the main language(see above) has not been set, the following icon will be present - Help Image

If it has been set to english, the icon will look like this - Help Image

To write a text in the language you want, just choose the correct language and write the text next to it into the input-field. If you want to input another language, just change the language choicebox to another one and fill in your new text.

You can test it by switching the choicebox now.

The right language will be used automatically depending on the language used by the particular user in Valuemation.
