Task Life Cycle

Every task has its own life cycle. The following states are present:

  • Awaiting

    The previous Task has not yet been completed, but the current one has already been assigned to the future assignee, e.g. by the Dispatcher.

  • Offered

    Task has been offered to a group or to a user (or both) and is waiting to be accepted or allocated

  • Allocated

    The Task has been allocated to a user or a group and is ready to be started. Users can see it in the catalog Tasks for Me or in the appropriate info object.

  • Started

    The Task has been started and is being completed.

  • Completed

    Final stage of the Task.
