Time zone features may be found useful in any Valuemation business module. The Incident/Problem/Change Manager may serve as an example of a module likely to benefit from them by providing proper escalation of tickets entered by users in different time zones. In this module, time-related attributes contained in the Ticket, Activity and Ticket Description object types will require the transfer to the Timestamp attribute as described in Steps to Implement Time Zones Support. As a result, these attributes will become time zone dependent (provided time zone support is globally enabled) and in catalogs and views the date and time fields will be combined into one new field. | |||||
