Check the Java Runtime EnvironmentJava™ Runtime Environment (JRE) is the name for the package developed by Sun that includes the Java Virtual Machine, the Java Web Start program, the Java control panel, and other components. The term "runtime" refers to the fact that the package contains just what is necessary to run programs that have already been developed.
The Sun Java™ Runtime Environment is provided with the Valuemation installation package.

If you are unsure whether a correct Java version is installed on your computer or if a new installation is necessary, contact the USU customer support. You will need to know your Valuemation version and your current Java version.
To determine the Java version, open Windows Command Prompt and use command: java -version
