About Offer Description

The description field provided with each request in the 'My Submitted Requests' catalog dynamically displays the best available description of the request. The field is populated with information in the following way:

• If the request has no options and the comment field of the request has been filled in, the description displays the comment.
• If the request has no options and the comment field is empty, the description displays calculated change details summary. (Change details contain a calculated attribute which summarizes their information. This attribute is used on Change Details themselves, and also propagated to the Cart and to the 'My Submitted Requests' catalog if applicable.)
• If the request has options, information about the options is displayed. If there are too many options, the highest level options are displayed in the request title and a limited number of other options in the description.
