Workflow Definition

Assigned help topic will be displayed on pressing the F1 key for a GUI element displayed as a result of running the particular workflow.

For example, let's assign a help topic to the 'Create Baseline System' action found in the standard 'Configuration Manager' sidebar. Running the action opens first a catalog of systems but we want the F1 key to display information on baseline system creation rather than generic information on systems which would get displayed if the assignment was based on the object type or catalog level. Help assignment on the level of workflow is the solution.

The right-click menu on the action in the sidebar offers item 'Edit workflow Baseline_createFromSidebar'. From this we see that the workflow behind this action is 'Baseline_createFromSidebar'.

If we assign a suitable help topic to the 'Baseline_createFromSidebar' workflow, the topic will get displayed for the GUI elements which open as the result of running the workflow. (In this example it is the 'Browse: System' catalog for system selection.)
