Catalog: Rendering Condition for Objects With Attachments

In catalogs, it is possible to visually distinguish objects with attachments from the others. This can be done by specifying a catalog rendering condition.

  1. Open the 'Catalogs Editor' in Valuemation Rich Client.
  2. In the 'All Catalogs' window, locate and select the object type and select the catalog to be customized. Click 'Edit'.
  3. In the 'Catalog Customizer' window which opens, go to the 'Rendering Conditions' tab.
  4. Click the 'Create' button at the very bottom of the window. This creates a new row in the list of rendering conditions.
  5. Click the 'Create Row' button in the bottom section of the window. (You may need to click 'Reset' to clear the section first.)
  6. Specify the new rendering condition for the attachments attribute. E.g.

  7. Click 'Update' to apply changes to the condition.
  8. Specify rendering properties for objects which meet the condition, e.g. give them a unique background color or better yet, assign a 'clip' icon to them.
  9. Click 'OK'.

After this customization, catalog objects with attachments should be displayed differently according to the specified rendering properties.
