User Variable Rights have the Priority Higher than any Attribute Value Right

This option is also coupled with the authorization (permission) priorities.

If the "User Variable Rights have the Priority Higher than any Attribute Value Right" check box is set to true (= is checked), the order of "Field" and "Variable by Workflow" authorization types is switched:

User variable rights have the priority higher than any attribute value right

Unchecked

Attribute permissions evaluated in the following order:

1

Field

2

Variable by Workflow

3

Variable by Dataset

User variable rights have the priority higher than any attribute value right

Checked

Attribute permissions evaluated in the following order:

1

Variable by Workflow

2

Field

3

Variable by Dataset

This check box along with the "Multitenancy has the highest priority" check box enables to define four combinations of priority order for evaluation of attribute rights. See 'Multitenancy and Combination of the Rights Priorities' for more information.

These multitenancy settings are globally valid for all roles, i.e. it is not possible to specify them specifically for individual roles.
