Printing From an Open Catalog

To print from an open catalog, use the 'Print' and 'Print With...' commands found in the catalog right-click context menu. See 'Print versus Print With' for an explanation of the difference between these two commands.

Note that you can use the commands with just one or multiple objects selected. With multiple selection, the Print With... list may contain fewer templates to print with as not all report templates accept a collection of objects (see example below). To print all objects in the catalog, select them all (e.g. using the <CTRL+A> keyboard shortcut) and initiate the Print/Print With...action as usual.

Example: Not all report templates accept a collection of objects

In this example let's try "Print With...' on one system in a catalog of systems:

The 'Systemdetails' report template is not listed for the collection of systems because it does not accept a collection. See 'Working With Parameters' for more detail.
