Web Page Size

This setting applies to Valuemation web client only.

Web page size determines the number of catalog records shown on one page when web client is used. Other records can then be viewed by clicking the Next/Previous buttons. In other words, the setting determines how many objects will be displayed (including scrolling) before having to click Next/Previous.

The setting is used to speed up performance by limiting the amount of data contained in one html page (thus making generating and download of each individual page faster).

The page size will be automatically decreased in run time if it is higher than Load Increment.

Note: In older versions of Valuemation this setting was handled differently:

  • The setting was done using an external configuration file web.xml
Since version 3.1 onward, the setting is done in the Limit Setting window and the information is stored in MainParameters.
  • The setting was taken into account only when Incremental Data Retrieval was used.

Since version 3.1 onward, the Web Page Size setting is used independently on other limit settings.
