Maximum Read Limit

In some case, the Incremental Data Retrieval method cannot be used.

The most important examples are:

• when deprecated method ApiBOType.createFilter() has been used in script
• when printing reports

In such cases, the maximum number of objects which can be read to memory is determined by the Maximum Read Limit setting. Exceeding this limit returns exception messages:

• ApiBOType.createFilter(): Error Message

  

• Report printing: Warning

  

The Maximum Read Limit value cannot be set less than 500 and more than 50000. Recommended values do not exceed 2000 as setting the Maximum Read Limit too high may have a considerably adverse effect on performance and memory consumption.
