Tasks on Import Tab

On the Import tab, it is possible to import external users and groups from the LDAP server. The following topic describes the action in a step-by-step detail.

Importing External Users and Groups

To import external users and groups:

1. Click Import Users and Groups from LDAP button. New or modified users and groups are imported.
2. You can see imported users and groups in the Imported Users and Groups table.
3. If there is a conflict between the external users / groups from the LDAP and the internal ones, those user(s) / group(s) will be displayed in the Conflicting Users and Groups table instead and won’t be imported until you resolve the problem, either by changing of the name or by deleting the conflicting internal users / groups.
4. Click Apply to keep changes or - when prompted to save changes on exit - click OK to confirm.

NOTE: Both users and groups are imported together in one step.
