Combined Authorizations
Since Valuemation version 5.0, role-based and data-based authorizations are handled independently in the 'Actions' tab, which allows for more flexibility in specifying combined authorizations. Refer to the table below to see how old authorization options (set by the 'Authorization Type' drop down in previous Valuemation versions) correspond to combinations of check boxes 'Relational Action', 'Role-based authorized' and 'Data-based authorized' introduced in Valuemation 5.0.

Editor in the read mode
When the editor is opened in the read-only mode:
- Actions with data-based authorization are influenced. As the read-only mode excludes the possibility to write or delete, data-based authorized actions requiring at least write or delete permissions are disabled.
- Actions with role-based authorization only are not influenced by the read-only editor mode.
