Generic CorrelationWith this function, the number of allocations is to be reduced. For a complete generic allocation, the following data are necessary:
For example: All job names (consumers), which starts with 'JA ' , shall be assigned to a cost center. All job names which starts with ' JB ' shall be assigned to another cost center. Without a generic allocation, you would have each individual job name to seize and to assign to the cost center. If you forget one, then this can't be assigned and evaluated. Over the generic allocation, you know now how to summarize and to assign applications, projects, service groups 1 and 2 and products over the 'Wildcard' to a over term, like the generic search in the filter criteria. This over term will entered like before as application, project, service group, consumer etc. with the allocations and the appropriate data in the flow control. Additionally still another action must be registered for generic allocation in the flow control.
Within a carrier system only one can be used by the two actions for the consumer allocation. Same applies to the two actions of the consumer group 1. For which of the 6 terms application, project, service group, consumer group 1, consumer group 2, you seize the generic allocation, you have to indicate in the table characteristic.
As Wildcards are possible: _ stands for exactly one character % the percentage sign underlined of any number of indications For example: Generic allocations: Table characteristic generic condition over term (character sequence) Z JA% JOB1 Z JB% JOB2 Master data and allocations: ' JOB1 ' and ' JOB2 ' must be seized then as consumer with the allocations to the cost center (s. consumer group 1 allocation).
