Carrier

All systems which supply account data for Costing & Charging are called Carrier system. The carrier system is an important criterion with evaluations, which can make a statement about the origin of the costs. Therefore, carrier systems should be selected in such a way that the evaluations are meaningful. If you like to separate e.g. into evaluations according to ' test ' and ' production ', then there should be defined 2 different carrier systems for it (at least).

The possibilities of the allocation are further criterions with the definition of a carrier system. The allocation mechanisms can be defined for each carrier system.

Different allocation procedures ==> separate carrier systems.

In addition, the batch program run ' allocation ' and ' evaluation ' can be driven for each carrier system separately.

The definition of the carrier systems is a substantial part of the creation of an account model for the introduction of Costing & Charging.
