Actions in the Web Service Catalog

In the Web Service catalog, you can create a new Web Service using the 'Create' or 'Select Workflows and Create' actions.

To create a new Web Service:

1. Click the 'Create' button at the bottom of the catalog

   OR

   right-click and select 'Create' from the menu.

   A 'New: Web Service' editor opens.

2. Fill in the mandatory fields and assign the workflow.
3. Assign the Web Service to a Web Service Client in the Web Service Clients tab below.
4. Apply the changes and close the editor.

   The new Web Service has been created.

Alternatively, you can start with the workflow selection:

1. Click the 'Select Workflows and Create' button at the bottom of the catalog

   OR

   right-click and select 'Select Workflows and Create' from the menu.

   A 'Workflow Definition' browser opens.

2. Select the corresponding workflow.
3. Click 'Apply' to proceed.

   The new Web Service has been created and is listed in the catalog.

   The mandatory fields have been filled automatically based on the workflow definition.

   Note: The Web Service is not assigned to a Web Service Client and the assignment must be done manually.

4. Assign the Web Service to a Web Service Client in the Web Service Clients tab below.
5. Apply the changes and close the editor.

   The new Web Service has been created.
