GUI Translations

GUI translations are stored using ASCII characters. Special characters like German umlauts or Arabic or Chinese characters are encoded using Java Unicode string format - \u + 4 hexadecimal digits (e.g. u\062D). All GUI translations can be stored in any database, Unicode or not.

These translations are administered by the 'Translations of Application Text' catalog and editor accessible from the Valuemation Core sidebar. They can also be edited directly from respective Valuemation customizers.

See the 'Translations of Application Text' chapter for detailed information.
