Delete Orphans

Action Delete Orphans scans the distribution elements catalog and deletes those distribution elements for which no source objects exist.

By source object we mean an object (service, product, product type, project, organization unit, cost center, business partner) in the production chain that is represented by the distribution element. An 'orphan' distribution element is then a distribution element which has been created for an object that no longer exists. E.g. a distribution element ben created in the past for a cost center which was later on deleted.
