Re-importing the Model

It is possible to re-import the XML file created with the same –root parameter.

Example: Let's suppose that root package Reversed Business Process Model was created during the previous import. Select the package in EA Project Browser and start the action Import from XMI using package context menu. Import option Strip GUID should be unchecked. EA will drop existing objects in the package and create new ones according to the XML file. Model tickets, activities and product types with the same name will have the same identity in EA, so references from diagrams created by user will be preserved.
