Using Distributions in a Nutshell

Basic workflow of using cost distribution tools in the Valuemation Planning/Calculation Manager includes the following steps:

• Create a distribution network
• Populate it with distributions
• Recalculate percentages
• Assign the distribution network to a plan
• Use the Upload Distribution Costs / Upload Distribution Results action to recalculate plan indirect costs
• Inspect the results on the Distribution Costs and Distribution Details tabs of the Plan editor
• Use the Calculate Unit Price action to determine Unit Price and price-related values such as Total Price and profits.
