How It Works

In our examples, we will consider three geographical locations: Berlin, London and New York.

Initial Conditions

• Let the web server be situated in Berlin with clients in Berlin, London and New York.
• Let's imagine that employees in Berlin, London and New York all have a conference meeting at around 3pm GMT, as a result of which each of them makes a time-related entry in the application. Due to the time difference between the locations, it is 3pm in London, but already 4pm in Berlin and only 9am in New York.
