Cost Center

In this table all relevant cost centers for the Costing & Charging are stored.  It serves mainly to examine occurring cost centers in the account and in the master data .

A hierarchical cost center structure can be illustrated. It must be proceeded top-down during their collection, because each superordinate cost center must be known as  cost center.  Start with the highest hierarchic level with the cost center, which is a superordinate cost center.

The structure of the cost centers will be more flexible. The valid of cost centers is often under the period of time of a financial year. So cost centers will stored exactly for periods.

In the field 'calculation cost center', the cost center which shall be calculated, can be entered. If it is equal to the normal cost center, it has to be entered, too. This field might be used as interface to a system for cost calculation.

The field 'account assignment cost center' is used for documentating. E.g., it can be used to capture, which cost center shall be transmitted to the cost calculation and which not.

The wildcard is accepted as search criteria.

The field 'cost center to org/dv' can be used for analysis, f.e. to show, how much is the own consumption.
